To chair the committee meetings create the agendas and keep everything shipshape.

To deal with all the communication for the team both internally and externally.

Responsible for recruiting and supporting new members to the group.

Treasurer…. Claire and Eileen
Ensure that the team are kept aware of the financial situation. To keep the accounts in order, present them annually for audit. To carry out the banking as necessary and sign off cheques as required.

Publicity and Sponsorship Pam, Justine, Diane and Beth
To identify and co-ordinate publicity, fundraising and sponsors.

Fitness Advisor David Morrell (Littledown Sports Centre)
Recognizes the special issues that accompany this team. The training program is fundamental to success. It is an art to provide the right amount of training stimulus to 25 different individuals, without causing an overuse injury.

Medical
With the correct training programme and if paddlers listen to their fitness advisor and their bodies, medical issues will be few. All new members are advised to discuss their intention to participate in the sport of dragon boat racing with their doctor.
